We all know that technology is developing with the continuous progress of the times. But in the process of technological development, ethical issues have also been brought up. To be honest, the level of my influence on technology in advance was limited to the convenience it brought to my life without thinking about his negative influence. According to the two articles provided this week, I have a deeper understanding of what ethical issues are and how technology involves ethics. But when I finished reading these two articles, I realized that although this problem has existed for a long time, it has not been solved well. Because when we solve the current moral problems, more new moral-related problems will emerge.

First of all, in his article, Kenneth gave the concept of ethics defined in addition to morality. I can conclude that ethics is a limitation of people’s behavior and ways. Many people think that morality and ethics are the judgment and reflection of each person’s own behavior. However, some people support that society or the government should formulate the corresponding moral level. However, these two ideas are constantly competing, because both have their own risks and shortcomings. I think that moral boundaries are difficult to define and stipulate. Because everyone’s thoughts and behaviors are free, but when we make certain decisions and make corresponding behaviors, we should have a degree of balance in our hearts. The most typical example of applying ethical issues to technology is spreading false information or rumors on the Internet. Because these will produce misleading thoughts for those who do not understand certain aspects. The moral bottom line should be reasonable.

However, in another reading. He used a longer space to describe the history of morality. He believes that information is a way for us humans to interact with the outside world, and receiving and communicating information is our constant interaction and communication. To be able to live better, we need to store more information in our bodies. However, the emergence of technology facilitates our learning and understanding of more knowledge and information, thereby facilitating and enriching our lives. In the process of information interaction, we should all have the ability to control the essence of everyone’s heart. Therefore, the use of technology should be the same as our real-life society, with invisible constraints. Everyone should have their own moral code and bottom line.

In general, the emergence of technology has definitely facilitated our lives, promoted our storage of unfamiliar knowledge and communication between people. But at the same time of convenience, the emergence of moral problems cannot be ignored. Each of us must have our own standards for measuring and filtering when browsing and receiving knowledge.
